Administrative Assistant

Importer/Distributor of fine wines & spirits, located in Philadelphia, is interested in hiring an enthusiastic, outgoing and talented, part-time Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate must be professional, self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task. Be computer literate and have data entry experience; must be a quick learner, extremely well organized and able to manage time and workload efficiently and balance multiple tasks. The candidate must be able to work with company principals, co-workers, suppliers and customers in a pleasant upbeat manner. Attention to details as well as a strong desire to contribute to organizational objectives is highly sought after. Must be willing to learn and take on responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones in a timely and professional manner
  • Data entry
  • Taking customer orders by phone, text or email
  • Creating customer orders
  • Creating purchase orders to send to suppliers
  • Creating billing invoices to send to suppliers
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Creating business letters
  • Filing documents
Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must have prior office experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
  • Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds
Hours:

Monday-Friday, 20-25 hours per week

This is a telecommuting, work at home, part-time position that in the near future will require commuting to work at an office location in Philadelphia.
